In NoDa there are plenty of creative spots which are perfect for photographers looking for a unique background. This graffiti filled area is sure to inspire and motivate you with your photography. 

FIRST WARD PARK 

First Ward Park is a stunning spot to go to at any time of day! At night the fountain lights up in different colors adding to the beautiful open areas around it. It is the perfect spot to capture landscape photography of Uptown Charlotte. Within the park there is a creative stone structure that can be used to take portrait and landscape photos.

CENTRAL AVE BRIDGE ABOVE 277

The Central Ave bridge is an outstanding place to capture the best landscape photos of Uptown Charlotte. The sun sets directly behind the tall buildings of the town and enables you to capture the perfect lighting for your picture. The best way to get there is by parking across the street from the bridge and walking over.

MINT MUSEUM 

The Mint Museum is surrounded by beautiful artwork! Not only can you walk around for hours looking at the different designs, but there are also great spots to take pictures at. The staircase leading you into the museum is an excellent location for portrait photography. The park across the street has gorgeous flowers which give off a peaceful vibe. 

TARGET AT METROPOLITAN 

On top of the parking deck of Target within the Metropolitan shopping center is another great site to capture. It's the perfect location for getting landscape shots of the city. Although the top deck of the parking garage is blocked off, you can still walk up the stairs to the secluded floor and find this amazing view.



PLAZA MIDWOOD 

Plaza Midwood is a fun and laid back spot for all different kinds of photos. It is a great location for urban and streetwear photography, landscape, and portraits all within the same area. Creativity thrives in Plaza Midwood, building a welcoming and supportive community. This gives you a great judgement free area!

ROMARE BEARDEN PARK

Surrounded by buildings, there is an endless amount of photos that can be captured here! Because this park is within the heart of Charlotte, there are endless amounts of different photography styles that can be captured. The waterfall gives a calming and peaceful feel to the area while the large sections of grass allow plenty of room. During baseball season, Romare Bearden park has the perfect view of the winning fireworks coming from BB&T stadium which light up the sky.

FOURTH WARD PARK

Fourth Ward park is the best spot for portrait photography. Being in Uptown Charlotte, you can see the tall buildings above the trees within the park. There are extraordinary houses that have been in the area for ages. Because the houses are all different and they are older style homes, it gives a rustic feel to the area.
